As a young teacher in Washington D.C., a realtor friend said to me, "You know, if you buy an apartment to live in, you will spend less money on a mortgage than you will on rent."

And that was the beginning of my journey in real estate—circa 1998.​

Since that time, I've learned a lot about real estate through my personal experience—buying and selling, rehabbing, and managing short- and long-term rentals. In the summer of 2026, my family and I relocated to Leonardtown in St. Mary’s County, Maryland for a slower pace of life, more time outdoors, and a deeper connection to nature.

​As I forge my career in real estate, I'm leveraging my personal experience of buying, selling, and renting homes, as well as my professional background in educational leadership. Working with me means I don’t just show you houses—I help you evaluate their true potential, maximize your investment, and navigate the logistics seamlessly. With a teacher’s patience and an investor’s sharp eye, my goal is to make your transition to Southern Maryland as rewarding as mine was.​
